I am a PhD-level materials scientist and bioengineer working at the interface of biomaterials, microphysiological testbeds, and translational validation. I build simple, decision-oriented experimental systems to answer hard questions about material–biointerface performance: adhesion, wetting, transport, mechanics, and biological response. My background spans polymer chemistry and soft matter (hydrogels, polymersomes, nanogels), bioceramics (hydroxyapatite composites), and microfluidic lab-on-chip platforms, supported by strong materials characterization and in vitro / ex vivo bioassays.
I thrive in interdisciplinary teams and I am most effective when the goal is clear: turn a promising material concept into reproducible data, a realistic prototype, and a pathway to translation. I prefer clean experimental design over complexity — tight controls, fast learning loops, and results you can trust. Through this blog I share my thoughts on these topics, introduce my research, and try to explain why the work matters.
